Meridian Jacobs is a farm and fiber shop in Solano County. Robin Lynde has raised Jacob sheep for over 20 years and during that time she developed the on-farm shop where she sells locally produced fiber and yarn, spinning and weaving equipment, farm products, and gifts.
Robin is excited about handwoven pinwheel scarves and she plans to use that same design for shawls and maybe blankets.
The pinwheel design is created by using stripes of contrasting color in warp and weft along with a specific weave structure.
The colors of the Jacob sheep are the inspiration.
Robin sells clothing, housewares, fiber, yarn and sundries on the Fibershed Marketplace!
Robin teaches friendly classes (now virtual) in spinning, weaving, and sheep management. She hopes to return to on-site field trips, farm tours and classes later in the year.
Meridian Jacobs offers unique Farm Club memberships for people who want to learn more about raising sheep and the day-to-day management of a small farm.
