Clemes & Clemes – Featured Merchant – Christmas in July

We are a father and son duo in the East Bay hamlet of Pinole.

Our family has proudly served the fiber arts community since 1970!

 

We have everything you need to get from fiber to shawl: fleece, equipment, and education.  We are known throughout the world for our fiber preparation equipment, and we regularly instruct and consult on fiber preparation for hand spinning.

 

Our equipment is designed and built in our woodshop.

 

Our Good Clean Fiber program provides washed (ready to process) fleece. Our fiber comes from ranches across Northern California and is skirted, washed, and packed in our shop.

 

What’s your favorite product?

Our NorCal Wool Sampler. In 50 years of business, we have never had an exclusive product, so this is our first one!

Working on the sampler made us think about what a customer coming to Fibershed Marketplace is looking for, and how we could blow them away with something made specifically for them.
