Warner Mountain Weavers – Featured Merchant – Christmas in July

Warner Mountain Weavers, located in Surprise Valley, California, opened in 2000 with handwoven rugs and saddle blankets, naturally dyed from local Navajo Churro wool.

The Surprise Valley is nestled between the high desert of the Warner Mountain Wilderness and the Great Basin. Desert pastels mingle with the sweet smell of sage. Creeks in the forest fill the lakes, providing pastures for sheep to graze.

As you enter the shop, you are pleasantly surprised by the lavish textures and colors of local, cozy woolens. We also carry knitting, spinning, weaving supplies and books.

We are pleased to have Lani Estill of Lani’s Lana join us.

Warner Mountain Weavers is bustling with Fibershed products and has turned into a destination.

Our favorite products are our Natural dyed yarns that are wild collected and fun from the foraging to the finish.
